Is my approach conscience or with consciousness?

Is there a difference between conscience and consciousness? If so, what is it? If I am awake, then I am conscience, but is my consciousness awakened? Let's address this in a perspective where society attains the approach where they tell you " This is right and this is wrong"- that is what one can call conscience. It is ingrained, and implantation in your mind. The person goes on day by day repeating it habitually. This is not what we can call the real thing, it has little value. What we can call real is your own consciousness. This does not carry any type of ready made answers of what is considered wrong and what is considered right. But, whenever a situation arises, it gives you a direction of knowing immediately what to do. A path is bestowed and is easily readable for the individual.

Let me give you an instance in the form of a story. A man named Jesus went to the home of Mary Magdalene. She was very much in love with Jesus. When he sat, she poured a very rare perfume on his feet. And not just a little, the whole contents of the bottle. A friend by the name of Judus was also present. When he saw this action, he immediately opposed and stated "You should not allow this type of nonsense. There are poor people who do not have anything to eat. We could have sold it and distributed the money to the poor". Jesus then said "Don't worry about it. The poor and hungry will always be here, but I won't. You can serve them always, no rush, but I will not be here. Look at Mary's love, her heart".

Now, which person would you agree with? Judas is more economical, practical and Jesus is not. Judas is claiming to help the poor and Jesus simply replies " I will be gone soon". Most would agree with Judas. It just seems right. A good philosophy, therefore we can portray him as a thinker, sophisticated and well mannered. And yet, he betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. After the crucifixtion of Jesus, Judus had a feeling of guilt. This type of feeling is known and is normal. His conscience began stinging him and ultimately he committed suicide. Here we can say that he was a good man, he had a conscience. But at the same time, he had no consciousness.

Conscience is given by society, therefore we can call it borrowed. It tells you what is right from wrong, what to do and what not to do, morality, codes of a game. This is one aspect that can be called control.

Judas had a conscience but Jesus had consciousness. Jesus was more in concern with the love given by Mary Magdalene. If Jesus declined the perfume, it would have devastated her. To her, this was the most precious thing she had for water alone would not suffice. She symbolically poured her heart onto the feet of Jesus. Judus again, was a man with a conscience, where the perfume was considered to be "costly". He was ambiguous to the love being poured at that moment. The material here is the perfume, the immaterial is the love. This immaterial Judas could not see, for you need the eyes of consciousness to see this.

Now here is a question, is your approach conscience or with consciousness. And if it is with consciousness, then how deep are you in it? Can you get deeper?
